How long a project takes depends on your space, your pace of decision-making, and how much support you'll need through the process. During the free virtual consultation, we'll map out where to begin, how long it may take, and provide a clear, custom quote.

Daily Service Areas:

$120/hr (three hour minimum)

What is your DeclutterCore method?

Our DeclutterCore method is a simple four-step process that we apply to every project. We focus on one room/space per session.

Step 1 is Collect (we remove trash and items that don't belong in the space and rehome to the appropriate area in the home).

Step 2 is Categorize (we collect likes-with-likes so you can see what and how much you own).

Step 3 is Cut-Out (this is the step that you are involved in and we coach you through decluttering each category).

Step 4 is Contain (finally we utilize organizing products and create a storage layout and system of organization for every item and space.)

How am I involved in the process?

We are 100% hands-on in the process, therefore we do not have you involved in the physical part of the work. It's very important for you to reserve your energy and focus for Step 3 (decision-making/decluttering). So relax and rest while we do the other work for you.

Do I have to be home and available?

Yes. While we do the majority of the work, you are involved in the decision-making and decluttering portion of the project and it's very important that you are available and ready when that time comes. We can work around pre-scheduled at-home appointments but it's best to clear your calendar when a session is scheduled.

How long is a session?

Our average session is 6 hours of hands-on work. Your portion of the process is decision-making and decision fatigue is real and something we factor in-- most clients lose focus and energy around 3-4 hours of decision-making so that is usually the time frame we work around and how long you can expect to be involved.

What products do I need to buy?

90% of the homes we work in have organizing product we are able to repurpose. We also bring a supply of standard bins that we can use if needed. We won't know what specific product is needed until we have completed the decluttering step and can assess what and how much we have remaining that needs to be contained. If product is needed to complete the project we will go shopping or place orders. If it is determined that product will be needed at the time of the consultation you'll be provided a list of recommendations to purchase before the session.

Where do I take donations?

We will load up your car at the end of the session with any donations. You may choose where you prefer to donate, however we typically recommend a large facility that takes bulk donations like Goodwill or Value Village.

How do I prepare for the first session?

Please have kitchen trash bags for trash and large black trash bags for donations available. Review and sign the client agreement and follow any instructions provided in the consultation. You've already taken the most important step-- scheduling and taking action to transform your home!

Will my space return to how it was before we did the work?

My transformations and systems are designed to last and we accomplish that in two parts. My job is to teach you decluttering and organizing skills and create systems in your home. Your job is to maintain those systems by creating tidying routines (put things away), modifying shopping habits, and decluttering regularly (quarterly or as needed). Having a decluttered and organized home is not a one-and-done project-- it's an ongoing lifestyle that requires consistency and intentional effort.
